The starter 2014 Corvette Stingray coupe can be yours for $51,995, about the same that buying four houses in the Motor City will set you back. The price for this model year’s Stingray is $1,400 more than what the previous model could be had for.
Being a Vette, however, does mean that its price accelerates quickly from the base starting line. The convertible version starts at $56,995, while those wanting a customable VIN will need to plunk down an additional $5,000. Some of the other enhancements that will cost extra are the $1,995 carbon-fiber roof, $2,800 Z51 performance package that comes with larger wheels, and the $1,195 dual exhausts. To end up with a copy of the Stingray that was displayed in an image at the Detroit Auto Show, you will need to pay a cool $73,360.
