Audi RS6 Avant 2013

Audi has announced that it is increasing the rate of the production of its top-end models such as the RS6 Avant in its ongoing pursuit of BMW.

The RS6 Avant, priced at $141,100, will hit the market just two years after the base model was released. The two-year span, is half of the four years that Audi had been needing to get RS models to sales floors.

This year, Audi will release a quartet of RS vehicles: the RS7 Sportback, RS5 convertible, RS Q3 SUV, and RS6 Avant.

The RS6 Avant is a huge step up from the base model being powered by 560 horses, compared to the 177 horses of the base, and costing triple the price.
