The Mini Paceman has come to Indonesia. Brought to the island nation by BMW Indonesia, the miniscule car would, if it were less pricey, prove to be a popular ride in a land populated by citizens used to tooling about traffic-clogged streets and lanes on mopeds and the becak, a three-wheeled taxi.
BMW Indonesia is saying that the Mini Paceman is a sports activity coupe featuring plush upholstery and the ability to navigate and park within the tightest of spaces. Talking about the newcomer to Jakarta, the city known as the Big Durian, BMW Indonesia president director Ramesh Divyanathan said, “The Mini Paceman is the first sports activity coupe in the compact premium segment with a pure sporty feel, [that is both] practical and flexible.”
Divyanathan added, “It’s a breakthrough for urbanites. The Mini Paceman still has that innovative character of a Mini, which you cannot find in any other brand. This car is aimed at those who like a vehicle that exudes confidence and is fun to drive.”
