Honda has taken the most-fuel-efficient, midsized-sedan crown with the release of its 2014 Accord Hybrid, which rates an EPA-certified 50 miles to the gallon in the city. Ford meanwhile is nursing its green wounds after having been forced to admit that its C-Max hybrid was not able to meet the fuel-efficiency ratings that had been promised dropping its combined rating from 47 mpg to 43 mpg.
