Horex VR6 RoadsterHorex’s first bike, the Horex VR6 Roadster, has finally arrived. Fitted with a 1,218cc, 15°, VR6 motor that churns out a respectable 161 horsepower, the VRs Roadster should prove to be a fun ride.

Although Horex did run into some delays while creating the roadster and even deeper delays with its yet to be released supercharged bike, industry observers are applauding in unison at the German bike maker’s ability to bring a new model to market in fewer than three years.

Speaking about this accomplishment, the powerfully-named Klaus-Peter Schäfer, head of sales and marketing at Horex, said, “Now that production of our Horex VR6 Roadster has begun at our factory in Augsburg and we’ve started supplying our dealers, you could say we’ve entered the home stretch. We’ve developed a new and technically innovative motorcycle equipped with a unique VR6 engine. It’s now ready for market, and we invite every Horex fan to take it out for a spin and discover the new roadster experience.”

Though demo VR6 Roadsters have already been delivered to 25 dealers through Switzerland, Germany, and Austria, the company has not yet released a price for its first bike.
