Green Has Never Been So Car-Crushingly Fun: First Monster Truck Electric Vehicle is Here

The builders of the original Bigfoot Monster Truck have done it again, albeit in a more earth friendly manner.

They have built the horribly-named e-Foot, an electric truck that rides upon 66-inch tall Firestone tires. Powered by 30 lead-acid Odyssey (the e-Foot’s sponsors) car batteries that have been looped together to churn out 360 volts of power, the e-Foot is scheduled to start hitting the nation’s county fairs and dirt tracks in 2013. The truck’s makers have yet to comment on the rumor that it will be crushing Priuses, Volts, and Leafs instead of the Tauruses that its gas-drinking ancestor made a living feasting upon.
