Home / News / Fail: Portable Office a Big No-No in Speeding Car

The police in Germany had a big surprise when they recently pulled over a Ford Mondeo wagon for flying down the road at 80 miles per hour when the speed limit was an American-themed 62 miles per hour.

Inside the car, the cops found a jerry-rigged mobile office made up of laptop, a docking station, a wi-fi antenna, a cellular data stuck, a router, a printer all plugged in to a power inverter. To its windshield was attached the driver’s smart phone.

While the Saarland region’s cops did ticket the driver for speeding, they did not give him a ticket for his office saying that did not see him being distracted by his office while he was driving.
