Home / News / Good News: The New Mazda 6 Looks Very Takeri-ish

Motor Trend is reporting that the production version of the new Mazda 6 sedan has finally been unveiled, at the Moscow Motor Show.

The lucky folks who were fortunate enough to make it to Russia are saying that the production Mazda 6 looks very similar to the (beautiful) Takeri concept that was first seen at the Tokyo Motor Show in November 2011. Reviewers are calling it a handsome car, which is a huge selling point for midsize sedans. Though details about which drivetrain the Mazda 6 will sport in North America have yet to be released, many feel that it will be fitted with a gas-driven 2.5-liter, six-speed automatic.

The new Mazda 6 sedan will be offered in North America next year as a 2014 model year vehicle.

Update:  we now have pics, courtesy of Mazda.  Enjoy!
