Home / Rumors / VW Golf Alltrack Coming to Europe?

VW Cross Coupe Concept

Volkswagen has announced that it is creating a crossover version of the next-generation Jetta SportWagen for the European market. To be called either the Golf Variant or the Golf Estate, the crossover will be launched in the Teutonic lands in early 2014.

Volkswagen talking heads are saying that the automaker is also working on a Golf Alltrack that will remind many of the Passat Alltrack, though it will possess enhanced traction aids, a higher ground clearance and a tougher exterior.  More exciting could be the Tiguan R, which would utilize the Golf R’s 280-hp turbocharger inline-4.

At this point, most believe that the Golf Alltrack will also not be sold in the American market.
