Jonathon Dandrow, an Ohioan inventor and all-around great American, has invented the noPhoto, a license plate frame that flashes a pair of strong xenon lights when they sense that a traffic camera light has flashed. The reactive xenon flashes prevent red light cameras from capturing the license plates.

Dandrow says that the noPhoto protects citizens from being “constantly monitored and watched,” and that drivers should not be given a ticket “just because it happens to be (from) a camera that can’t talk in court.”

Once it is in production, the noShow will sell for around $350.
