McLaren has announced that its P1 concept is now 97 percent production at a recent private event held in New York City that had the habaner0-orange vehicle on display.

Though the British supercar maker released details about the P1’s rear spoiler, brakes, wheels and redone front bumper at the event, it said that a 100 percent production P1 will not be unveiled until the Geneva Motor Show in the third month of 2013.

The car’s rear spoiler is an active feature that tilts both up and down to a limit of 29 degrees in order to increase drag and be an air brake. Its front bumper, meanwhile, has been given additional cooling vents to let hot air escape from its radiators.
