James Campbell was killed by his unnamed dog after the canine leapt into Campbell’s vehicle and landed on the van’s accelerator causing it to lurch forward and hit the Floridian.

Law enforcement officers from the state that brought us face eating say that the 68-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene. The man had just got home with Iris Fortner, 56, who later explained that Campbell had stepped out of the van to unlock a gate when the murderous boxer bulldog sprung into action and committed the crime.

Fortner claims that she unsuccessfully tried to stop the vehicle before it knocked Campbell over and trapped him underneath it. Meanwhile, the dog has thus far refused to talk to authorities.
