The Subaru BRZ and Scion FR-S sports car twins, built jointly by Subaru and Toyota are getting a redesign to go topless. The convertible, the Toyota FT-86 Open, will make its concept debut at the Geneva Motor Show.

According to a Toyota rep, other than losing its top, there will be no substantial changes made to the car’s engine or structure. This is good news for car lovers since both the Subaru BRZ and the Scion FR-S have been popular with consumers and critics alike. The only problem the cars have had is that production of them has not been able to keep up with demand, which is a mighty-fine problem to have.
