Costing more than a million dollars, the Black Snake has been released just in time for the Chinese Year of the Snake. Produced by the DARTZ Motorz Company, this luxury vehicle was made specifically for the Chinese Market.
DARTZ, a Lativia-based luxury tank maker, based its Black Snake on the Mercedes GL 63 AMG. Encrusted with jewels and diamonds, the Black Snake also sports a gem of a powertrain, the AMG 5.5-litre V8 bi-turbo engine that pumps out 557 horses and 560 pound-feet of torque, more than enough torque to twist the fattest of anacondas into a little green ball of envy. And, due to its AMG RIDE CONTROL sports suspension, a passenger runs little risk of losing a drop of Cristal even while shooting from zero to 60 in 4.9 seconds.
The Black Snake’s body was constructed from a space aluminum that was first used on the body of Joseph Stalin’s armored car so that he could be driven from burning hamlet to burning hamlet in safety. Its hood and grille are embellished in a decidedly non-understated manner with golden flourishes. Inside, the wonders continue. A customer may select from the leather of his choice to include crocodile belly, snake, ostrich or whale penis. Not a PETA friendly car, its floor mats are made of white shark skin.
