British carmaker Lotus is one sad dog. Losing at least $2 million every month and having a total of $400 million in liabilities, every day preceding today was the automaker’s better day.

But, despite all of her wrinkles and her heavy smell of stewed prunes, rumors are that the old worn lady has found a suitor: Aston-Martin. Still being in the rumor phase, the relationship is still too young for us to be able to truly know what, if anything, will blossom between the pair of British carmakers. Some say Aston Martin and Lotus may merge or sign a cooperative agreement.
